What Did the Sign on the Cross Say?

"A higher power than Pilate or the Jews had directed the placing of that inscription above the head of ( YAHUSHUA ). In the providence of ( Elohim ) it was to awaken thought, and investigation of the Scriptures. ..... It was a living truth, transcribed by  a hand that ( Elohim ) had guided."  Desire of  Ages p. 745, 746

    The term "living truth", declares that this is an "eternal statement". 

    In the last great judgment, when the wicked come against the holy city to try and conquer it ( but will fail miserably-Revelation 20:9 ), then the wicked Christian world who said the law was done away with, shall behold themselves on the outside of this holy city, and they shall behold the worshippers of YAHUWAH on the inside who kept His law, these called "the Yahudeans" or Jews.

    Before the wicked are destroyed, all shall behold the panoramic view of the Saviour dying on the cross, and shall behold the words nailed above Him. This sign said, "YAHUSHUA of NAZARETH THE KING OF THE YAHUDIM" (Yahudeans ). John 19:19 All shall see that in the Greek and Latin it did not say, IhsouV  or  "IESVS",  but Iaussoua  and  IAHVSVA.

    The Devil saw what was being written and he knew that it was a statement of truth, so he tried to work through his agents to try to get Pilate to change what he had written, they said, "Write not, the king of the Jews; but that He said, I am king of the Jews. Pilate answered, what I have written I have written." John 19:21,22

    If Pilate would have done what they had desired, it would have conveniently left the Saviours name off, and would have failed to be a testimony after the millenium, in the last great judgment. The sign did not say, "Jesus of Nazareth the king of the Christians."

    Even the wise men in search of truth, studied the Scriptures and the writings of Balaam where they found that "there shall come a star out of Jacob, and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth ( the heathen ). Numbers 27:17 Therefore the wise men came looking for this king. The Scripture says, they came to Jerusalem "saying, Where is He that is born king of the Yahudeans ?"Matthew 2:2

    Under inspiration even "Nathanael answered and saith unto Him, Rabbi, Thou art the son of Elohim; Thou art the king of Israel." John 1:49

    When Pilate said unto YAHUSHUA, "Art Thou the king of the Yahudeans ?" What did YAHUSHUA say ? "sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of Me ?"

    Pilate answered and said, "Am I a Yahudi ? thine own Nation and chief priests have delivered Thee unto me: what hast Thou done ?" How did YAHUSHUA respond ?

   "My kingdom is not of this world: If My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered unto the Yahudeans: but now is My kingdom not from here."

    Pilate therefore said unto Him, "Art Thou a king then ? YAHUSHUA answered, "Thou sayest that I am a king. to this end was  I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth My voice."

    Pilate saith unto Him, "What is truth ?" John 18:33-38

    This sign written above the head of YAHUSHUA was a "living truth", an eternal statement. How said that many as Pilate say, "What is truth?" For they really do not know !

    Truth does not change ! It is eternal ! "Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth."

 John 17:17 "Thy law is the truth" Psalm 119:142 "Thy commandments are truth" Psalm 119:151.

 "The judgments of YAHUWAH are truth and righteous altogether." Psalm19:9 margin

    YAHUSHUA said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." John 14:6

    "YAHUSHUA the Messiah the same yesterday, and today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8

    It behooves us to learn what truth is, and conform our lives to it; while there is still time. Before we learn what truth and reality is; only when it is to late !

    Would you like to be part of this kingdom or city of truth ? (see Zechariah 8:3 ). The door of probation is now open ! Will you believe on the name of the only begotten son of YAHUWAH ?

    YAHUSHUA said, "I am come in My Father's name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will  receive." John 5:43

    The Church leaders are preparing people to receive a different king !

   "As the crowning act in the great drama of deception, Satan himself will personate ( the Messiah ).

    The Church has long professed to look for the Saviour's advent as the consummation of her hopes.

     Now the great deceiver will make it appear that ( the Messiah ) has come. In different parts of the earth, Satan will manifest himself among men as a majestic being of dazzling brightness, resembling the description of the son of ( Elohim ) given by John in the Revelation. The glory that surrounds him is unsurpassed by anything that mortal eyes have yet beheld. The shout of triumph rings out upon the air, 'Christ has come ! Christ has come !' The people prostrate themselves in adoration before him, while he lifts up his hands, and pronounces a blessing upon them, as ( the Messiah ) blessed His disciples when He was upon the earth. His voice is soft and subdued, yet full of melody. In gentle, compassionate tones he presents some of the same gracious, heavenly truths which the Saviour uttered; he heals the diseases of the people, and then  in his assumed character of  (Messiah ), he claims to have changed the Sabbath to Sunday, and commands all to hallow the day which he has blessed. He declares that those who persist in keeping holy the seventh day are blaspheming his name by refusing to listen to his angels sent to them with light and truth. This is the strong, almost overmastering delusion. Like the Samaritans who were deceived by Simon Magus, the multitudes, from the least to the greatest, give heed to these sorceries, saying, This is  'the great power of God.'

    But the people of ( Elohim YAHUWAH ) will not be misled. The teachings of this false (messiah)  are not in accordance with the Scriptures. His blessing is pronounced upon the worshippers of the beast and his image, the very class upon whom the Bible declares that ( YAHUWAH's ) wrath shall be poured out.

    "And furthermore, Satan is not permitted to counterfeit the manner of ( the Messiah's ) advent. The Saviour has warned His people against deception upon this point, and has clearly foretold the manner of His second coming. 'There shall arise false ( messiah's ), and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible they shall deceive the very elect

.....Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, He is in the desert; go not forth; behold, He is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as lightening cometh out of the east, and shineth unto the west; so shall also the coming of the son of man be.' This coming, there is no possibility of counterfeiting. It will be universally known - witnessed by the whole world.

    "Only those who have been diligent students of the Scriptures, and who have received the love of the truth, will be shielded from the powerful delusion that takes the world captive. By the Bible testimony these will detect the deceiver in his disguise. To all the testing time will come. By the sifting of temptation, the genuine ( Messiahan ) will be revealed. Are the people of Elohim now so firmly established upon His word that they would not yield to the evidence of their senses ? would they, in such a crisis, cling to the Bible, and the Bible only ? Satan will, if possible, prevent them from obtaining a preparation to stand in that day. He will so arrange affairs as to hedge up their way, entangle them with earthly treasures, cause them to carry a heavy, wearisome burden, that their hearts may be overcharged with the cares of this life, and the day of trial may come upon them as a thief ."Great Controversy p.624-626

    Why are people taken in such a "strong delusion" ? Paul said, "Because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause Elohim shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. *

    "But we are bound to give thanks always to Elohim for you, brethren beloved of YAHUWAH, because Elohim hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Wherefore He called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Master YAHUSHUA the Messiah." 2 Thessalonians 2:10-13

    Truth is the original, whatever would deviate from the original is a counterfeit. ( Psalm 119:104,128)

    Let us now while there is still time, learn what TRUTH is. May "Elohim even our Father, which hath loved us, and given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work." 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17

    "And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, *KING OF KINGS AND RABONI OF RABONIM" Revelation 19:1
