The word "Cretin" is from the Latin "christianus, Christian, hence, 'human being' in the sense of 'just human'. a Person afflicted with Cretinism; b an idiot, mean-spirited person." Complete and Unabridged Webster's Dictionary

This definition of Cretin describes very well today's "Christian" community. For they seem to be "just human". As the Scripture says, "The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of Elohim: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." I Cor. 2:14

A good example of what I am talking about, is when a person out of love receives the truth that his Saviour's name is really YAHUSHUA, and that the name "Jesus" is only about 400 years old and therefore could not be only "name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12, because it never even existed 400 years ago. Typical of the Christian, who, refuses to even look into the matter, because it will of course expose his cherished idol, an error of men's hands (Jer. 10:14, 15). The Christian claims to be in love with the Messiah, but low and behold when the sacred name which true believers love to utter and praise, is brought to they're attention, they refuse to even consider the matter.

Are they really in love with the Saviour? Or would they rather receive the praise of men? "How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from Elohim only?" John 5:44 (see the preceding verse).

If they were really in love with the Saviour, then they would automatically receive the truth of His original name. The only name "under heaven". Suddenly they turn into a "mean-spirited person". It's not this way with the sacred name truth only. It is this way with all truth. Quite fascinating it is, that they claim such a close connection with heaven, that they speak in an "unknown tongue", which they claim is a heavenly language that only heaven can understand. A question one sensible person might ask when they are finished. "Did you receive a revelation of truth? or error?" How can we know? "Try the spirits" (I John 4:1) Try them by what standard? "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isaiah 8:20. This is what I like to use to all that try and get me to follow "familiar spirits ... that peep, and mutter." Did this spirit guide them "into all truth"? Remember, "Thy law is the truth" Psalm 119:142. "All Thy commandments are truth." Psalm 119:151. "Thy Word is truth." John 17:17. Usually what I've seen is a result of this "unknown tongue" causes the truth to be twisted, more ready to deceive. Sort of like Satan telling Eve that she wouldn't die (Gen 3:4), which she did not at the moment, which made Satan's lie seem true, but yet she died as a result of not believing the TRUTH which came from the mouth of YAHUWAH. Who said, "for in the day that thou eatest thereof you will surely die." Gen. 2:17

Another "idiotic" concept of the Christian is seen when you tell him YAHUWAH Elohim wants them to keep holy the Seventh day of the week instead of Sunday the first day. They're usual reply is that, "the law was done away with!"

This reasoning would mean that morality is done away with, since the law is moral.

That's why they "have no light in them." They do what ever they want to, as a result of such "idiocy". The Bible says that "sin is the transgression of the law."

I John 3:4. Because they disobey and sin they become more degraded in they're reasoning and even more deepened in they're "idiocy".

Some Christians are only mildly afflicted with Cretinism. They believe in obeying the Ten Commandments especially the Sabbath, yet reject the Feast days, which most are "sabbaths" too (Lev. 23:24, 32, 39), these are backed by the power of the fourth commandment.

These "just human" are at "enmity against Elohim: for it is not subject to the law of Elohim, neither indeed can be." Romans 8:7

Until they repent of Christianity (Cretinism) cast themselves at the feet of YAHUSHUA and ask forgiveness for rejecting the truth.

YAHUSHUA will bring them through an experience to help them realize what truth is, and the power of it. That they might be saved (II Thessalonians 2:10)

"In the Additions to Littre's Supplement, p. 361, a quotation is given from Statuts de Bordeaux, 1612, in which lepers or pariahs of supposed leperous descent, are called Chrestiens. "If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of YAHUWAH thy Elohim, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am YAHUWAH that healeth thee." Exodus 15:26
