The Prophecy of the Sabbaths "The jubilees did measure time with as exact measurement as the hand on the clock points to the time of day. "In order to realize the force of this type, we must notice that as seven days constitute a sabbath, so seven kinds of sabbaths form a complete round of sabbaths, and carry us up to the perfect sabbath in heaven. 'seven sabbaths shall be complete' Lev. 23:15. 1st. Is the seventh-day Sabbath. Ex. 31:13-17 2nd. Is the fiftieth-day sabbath. Lev. 23:15, 16 3rd. Is the seventh week sabbath. Deut. 16:9, 10 4th. Is the seventh month sabbath. Lev. 23:24, 25 5th. Is the seventh year sabbath. Lev. 25:3-5 6th Is the fiftieth year sabbath, or jubilee Lev. 25:8-13 7th. Is the fiftieth jubilee, and may be called the antitype of all other sabbaths. This will take no less than forty-nine times fifty years, which is 2450 years, to bring us to the great Jubilee, of which all others are but the shadows or types. "The next question which remains to be settled, is, to know when this began. "The land which is given to the saints by promise, would not be inherited until the 2450 years of captivity should be complete, and this must harmonize with the year of release. "Now, suppose we begin our time for the great Jubilee, at the time when the Jewish jubilees were broken and could not be kept in their regular order, when their seventy years' captivity, in the year 607, before our vulgar era; which 607 years taken from 2450 years will leave 1843." A Trilogy, A Lecture on the Typical Sabbaths and Great Jubilee by William Miller These things suggest that Seventh-day Adventists who have continued to advance in the light revealed from heaven are the true Israelites of Bible prophecy, as they were the only ones successfully gathering at this time. They seem to be the only ones who can reveal the mysteries of the sanctuary correctly and restored the sanctuary to its proper position in the plan of salvation. This faith they gathered from Israel. As the Scripture said, "then shall the sanctuary be justified." Dan 8:14 margin, or brought to its proper position and understanding. As a result the commandments were discovered in the most holy place, with the seventh day Sabbath. Now the Torah has been discovered, with all the statutes, along with the sacred name for those who continued searching for the lost treasures of Israel. People always ask, Why is it that only Seventh-day Adventists use the sacred name of YAHUWAH instead of Yahweh? Reply, because we are instructed to take Sola Scriptura in establishing every point of doctrinal belief, and bypass human tradition. Yahweh is proven by the testimony of Gnostic Greek writers who observed Sunday and spoke not according to the law and the testimony (Isa. 8:20). We seek to be the people of the Book! (Feel free to ask for studies proving each point by Scriptural arguments). The Seventh-day Adventist movement laid down the principles that would ultimately develop the 144,000. Thus we are certainly living in the time for the gathering of Israel, and gathering of the gems of truth. "I Ezra saw upon the mount Zion a great people, whom I could not number, and they all praised YAHUWAH with songs. Then said I unto the angel, What person is it that crowneth them, and giveth them palmes in their hands? So he answered, and said unto me, It is the son of Elohim, whom they confessed in the world. Then began I greatly to commend them, that stood so stiffly for the Name of YAHU-SHUA. Then the angel said unto me, Go thy way, and tell my people what manner of things, and how great wonders of YAHUWAH thy Elohim thou hast seen." II Esdras 2:42, 46-48. 1611
The Gathering of Israel The 2520 Prophetic Days In the little book Early Writings is a chapter entitled The Gathering Time. How is it that Mrs. White understood that she was living in the time for the Gathering of Israel? It was based on the sure word of prophecy. As YAHUWAH said unto Israel, "If you will not be reformed by Me by these things, but will walk contrary unto Me; then will I also walk contrary unto you, and punish you yet seven times for your sins. . . . And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and you be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths." Leviticus 26:24, 33, 34. Seven times in prophecy is 2520 years! Interesting that from the time that Israel began to be taken away in the days of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel was 721 B.C.E (II Kings 18:10), 2520 years extend to 1799, just past 1798 when the last empire of Daniel's vision was cast down. Not that Jews would not continue to suffer, but no longer would a anti-jewish empire rule the world, except for the last 31/2 years of earth's history when the lamb like beast (United States) should speak as a dragon. However, Israel still existed as a nation, but Isaiah foretold when they would not: "within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people." Isaiah 7:8. Isaiah said this in 742 and 65 years from that time was 677 when Israel would be carried away completely, and thus when the prophecy of seven times should begin. 2520 from 677 B.C.E. reaches to 1843 C.E. These seven years of servitude must include these four kingdoms, Babylon, which was the head of gold; Media and Persia, Greece, and Rome. From the head to the toes Israel would be in servitude. "At the end of every seven years (2520 days) thou shalt make a release." Deut 15:1 Thus the prophecy points to 1843 when Israel would be gathered. Israel had been carried away 70 years, from 677 to 607, then Yahudah and Benyamin were taken captive for 70 years, which reaches to 538 or 537.
158 B.C.E. was the year of the league between Jews and the Romans. After the league with him, he shall work deceitfully (Dan. 11:23). The Roman empire would rule 666 years extending to 508 C.E. when the pagan forces could no longer no longer contend with papal forces, thus the daily political kingdoms which fought against Israel were taken away at 508.
