Circumcision

    YAHUWAH instituted circumcision through  His friend Abraham, for He knew that Abraham would command his house after him.    It was extremely important that the Israelites keep up this tradition, for Messiah was to come through the Jewish line, and be born to that nation, a people was to receive Him.

    Moses put it off, "and it came to pass by the way in the inn, that YAHUWAH met him, and sought to kill him.  Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision." Exodus 4:24, 25

    That's how important it was to keep this tradition alive amongst Israelites.  And He could not let the leader get by without it being done to his sons.

    When the Messiah was born through Mary the Jewish customs were being practiced as specified.  "And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, His name was called YAHUSHUA, which was so named of the angel before He was conceived in the womb." Luke 2:21

    That's why it was ultra important for there to be a people living in the Jerusalem area to receive Him.  The Desire of All Nations was to come to this temple, as the prophets foretold.  A people off in Babylonian captivity would have been useless to Him.  That's why it was important for them to be obedient and return and build Jerusalem, so that Messiah would have a people to come to.  But they didn't accept Him.

    No one would or could ever dispute whether He was really a male, or some sexless angel sent to them who could not sympathize with suffering humanity.

    To the contrary, YAHUWAH sent "His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh." Romans 8:3

    This also helps us understand the Father.  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the Father is a sexual being.  As the Scripture states, the Son is the "express image of His person." Hebrews 1:3.   Also, "Elohim created man in His own image".  "Form and feature." Great Controversy p. 645

    It is true that El is a spirit (Jn 4:24), He is also a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29).

    My daughter has never seen me, but she knows (its not even a question in her mind) what  I am, because she knows what her brother is.  Some things in life are so elementary that we can't understand them unless its deep and extremely complicated.  Then folks wrest and tangle things up, and make it the way they want it to be.  Maybe they would prefer Lucifer who is sexless.

    YAHUSHUA said, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known Me, Philip?  he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?" John 14:9

    Once we know what the Father is, then we know what He is not.

     He does not have a womb or chamber for carrying children, because He is not part female.  How do I know?  I was created in His image and after His likeness.

    "I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." Psalm 139:14

    Is circumcision binding on us today?  See the statute listed in Deut. 10:16.  The statutes for mankind for the six thousand years are listed from Exodus 21 - 23 and repeated in Deuteronomy but circumcision is not listed.  Circumcision is a good

Circumcision, The Prophecy!

    In these last days many controversies have arisen concerning the Godhead (more proper, the Elohim).  Modern Christianity makes the Saviour out to be divine only.  This is sort of an excuse for getting out of obedience to the law.  They follow the Devils accusation saying that Messiah could keep the law, because He was divine.  But humans can't keep it.  They do not dwell on the humanity of the Messiah.  Other groups make Messiah out to be just another good man, like a prophet or wise man, and leave out the fact He was YAHUWAH's very Son, or,  His divine nature.

    Some of the mystical groups are playing switchamarroo, making the Devil out to be the Messiah, and the Messiah out to be the Devil.  "Knowledge is easy unto Him that understandeth." Proverbs 14:6.  Most sacred namers know there is simply a name game the Devil is playing.  It's not quite so hard for Sabbath observers, but often times Sunday observers know not what they worship.

    It is important to know the original name, the rest is easy, anything else is a counterfeit.  But there is more to it.  There are other things we need to know other than the name issue to distinguish between the Messiah, the Son of Elohim, and Satan.  Like the manner of YAHUSHUA's coming, what He taught, His nature etc..  If we don't know, we shall be deceived when Satan comes pretending to be the Messiah.

    YAHUSHUA and Satan are two different kinds of creatures, and we ought to know the difference.

    "For verily He (YAHUSHUA) took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the seed of Abraham." Hebrews 2:16

    Satan has the nature of angels.  "For a spirit (such as Satan) has not flesh and bones, as ye see Me have." Luke 24:39, said YAHUSHUA!

    Now to the point with circumcision.  YAHUSHUA foresaw the controversy, and knew that Satan would seek worship of humans and that he would pretend to be the Messiah.

    Satan will not come saying "My Father is greater than I." John 14:28.     For "he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god." Dan 11:36 see also II Thessalonians 2:4.  Satan will twist Scripture making himself to be the Father and the Son all in one, quoting John 14:9, "he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, shew us the Father."

    There really isn't much hard-line proof like archaeology evidence to prove He existed (after all He was translated to heaven), of course there is no archaeology proof that He was 1000/0 man.  We know YAHUSHUA was because we believe the Scriptures, which they have contempt for, and only find fault with them, and hammer everything on their anvil.

      But no one will dare question whether YAHUSHUA was circumcised.   Of course He was, every Jewish boy had to be!  Especially when they are dedicated in the temple.
